We are thrilled to invite you to our 2024 Education Advocacy Day in Albany! At the Alliance for Quality Education (AQE), we are dedicated to ensuring equitable education for all New York students.

These buses will provide transportation for parents, students, and advocates from across the state to join us in Albany on January 23. Our goal is to rally and meet with decision-makers, advocating for our critical priorities in 2024.

Update the Foundation Aid Formula
Let’s work to revamp the Foundation Aid formula to ensure fair funding distribution across the state, emphasizing equity and inclusivity in education.
Fund Student Needs, Prevent Cuts
Federal COVID-19 funding is expiring, and we are committed to ensuring that essential programs and services continue. Our goal is to prevent any funding gaps in school districts.
Advance Universal Child Care
Join us in advocating for a permanent, robustly-funded program to support the child care workforce and ensure equitable access to all.
Invest in Full-Day Pre-K
We aim to increase rates for Universal Pre-K, provide adequate funding for quality programs, and ensure fair distribution to all community-based organizations.
Tax The Ultra Rich, Invest in Our New York
We support fair tax policies to invest in public education, childcare, and essential services by making the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share.
A Positive School Climate
Our commitment to ending the school-to-prison pipeline is unwavering. We aim to build trust, foster positive relationships, and invest in community schools.
