Zakiyah Ansari
Zakiyah Ansari is a member of the AQE Steering Committee. She has been an active education advocate in NYC since the late 90s. Zakiyah’s goal is to increase equity in the school system and make sure that all schools have the resources they need to provide all of our children with the best opportunities to learn and grow. Zakiyah is a proud mother of 8 children that inspire her to fight even harder for what is right, a sound basic education for all.
